Cover Reveal: The First Seven Books of A. Craine’s Necropomp Series
Palmista Press is delighted to reveal the completed covers for the first seven books in A. Craine’s Necropomp series.
For the first time, we can now show the complete seven-cover sequence together.
Welcome to Necropomp
The name gives you the first clue:
Necromancy + Psychopomp = Necropomp.
At the centre of the series is Wen, a young man whose journey begins with an encounter with a necromancer and a rather unusual problem.
The necromancer may be dead.
His voice isn't.
That encounter begins a much larger dark fantasy journey involving necromancy, demonology, shamanism, death, power and empire.
We won't say much more than that.
Part of the fun is discovering exactly how Wen gets from the beginning of Book One to the title waiting for him at Book Seven.
The First Seven Books
Book One — Voice of the Necromancer
Book Two — Voice of the Demonologist
Book Three — Voice of the Shaman
Book Four — Voice of the Psychopomp
Book Five — Voice of the Inquisitor
Book Six — Voice of the Emperor
Book Seven — Voice of the Necropomp
Seven Covers, One Series
Palmista Press designers have now completed the covers for all seven books, giving the Necropomp series a consistent visual identity from its opening book through to Book Seven.
Seen together, the covers tell their own visual story.
The recurring typography, dark fantasy aesthetic, supernatural imagery and central presence of Wen immediately connect the books, while each cover has its own distinctive character and colour palette.
Most importantly, they look like a series.
That matters to us.
When readers discover one Necropomp book on a digital storefront or bookshelf, we want the connection to the rest of the series to be immediately recognisable.
The Journey Has Begun
The first book, Voice of the Necromancer, is already available as an ebook on Amazon.
And A. Craine isn't waiting around.
The manuscript for Book Two: Voice of the Demonologist has already been completed and submitted to Palmista Press and is currently undergoing its first review with our proofreaders.
So while today we're revealing seven covers, the books themselves are already moving through the Palmista publishing pipeline.
There is considerably more Necropomp to come.
For now, though, we're simply going to put these seven covers together and enjoy the view.
The Necropomp Series by A. Craine.
Seven books.
Seven voices.
And it all begins with Voice of the Necromancer.
